The User accepts that the translation of Otineo Privacy Policy from the English language which the User is herein provided with is solely of an auxiliary nature and the relationship between Otineo and the User is regulated by the Terms and Conditions of Use and Otineo Privacy Policy in the English language version. In the case that there are any discrepancies between the English language version of the Terms and Conditions of Use and Otineo Privacy Policy and its translation the English language version shall prevail.
The aim of the present Privacy Policy statement made by Otineo Limited company with its headquarters in London at this address 12 Plumtree Court, EC4A 4HT London, UK. is to communicate information about the reasons for gathering data or personal data in certain cases, and to present how and why it is used or stored both during the registration process, and while using the service.
While using or browsing the Otineo service, you agree to the terms and conditions of the present Privacy Policy. Anybody who does not accept the Privacy Policy statement will not be able to use the service.
What is the aim of gathering and processing user information?
Otineo Service Users make a voluntary decision about whether they want to use the Otineo Service. All Users have a guaranteed right of choice as to the data they provide us with. The basic reason behind gathering some of the data is to adjust the delivered services and contents to Customers’ needs, interests and expectations as well as to guarantee the Users’ safe access to Otineo.
What User information do we gather?
During registration, we ask you to provide the following data:

Depending on the type of services available within the Otineo Service, we also gather other information used for the correct functioning of the service:

All information of this type will be used in order to adjust the delivered services and contents to Users’ needs, interests and expectations and to guarantee the Users secure access to the Otineo service and also to track fraud and other undesirable behavior and to prevent such behavior.
We can store all correspondence addressed to Otineo in order to answer queries, respond to demands and improve our services.
Some of our services are offered jointly with other webpages (affiliated webpages). Data provided on those webpages can be passed on to Otineo in order to enable the delivery of the service. Otineo deliberately does not accept the data of persons below the age of 13 and deliberately does not register such persons. If you are below the age of 13, please do not try to register with Otineo and do not try to send any information about yourself using our service, such as name and surname, address, telephone number or email address. No one below the age of 13 should deliver any personal information to Otineo. In the case that there is any personal info of children below the age of 13, we will be deleting such information as soon as possible. We collect only the data which is essential for the correct functioning of Otineo.
Otineo processes data only for the purposes described in the present privacy policy/ and/or additional information on privacy protection concerning individual services. Those purposes, apart from the ones mentioned above, include:
• Delivery of services to Users, including the displaying of adjusted contents and advertisements.
• Control, research and analyses, which aim at maintaining the continuity of our services, as well as their protection and improvement.
• Guarantee of the smooth functioning of our network.
• Elaboration of new services.

The information gathered by us will be used during the login of Users to the service, as well as while using Otineo, especially for the delivery of voice connections, carrying out activities related to User support, topping up and settling of accounts, delivery of other services as part of the service as well as our customers’ services.

The access to data and its correction is free of charge, apart from the cases in which it requires an unreasonable amount of work and means. We deliver personal data to other companies or persons from outside Otineo only in the following circumstances:
• If the User has given their consent. In order to disclose any confidential personal data, we ask for your consent
• We pass such information on to our dependent subjects or other trusted companies or persons in order to process personal data on our behalf. We require those third parties to express their consent for processing such data according to our instructions, while respecting the conformity with the present privacy policy and all other means of confidentiality and data security protection.

• In the event of a merger, take-over or any form of sale of Otineo (some or all of its assets), the User will be notified of it prior to the transfer of their data and prior to its regulation by a different security policy
• If it is required in order to use the service
• In the event of direct danger of bodily harm. This can result in passing the information on to other companies, lawyers, institution representatives and governmental organizations.
Otineo can deliver information to specified service Users in order to offer them additional functions of the service. In particular, they have the right to use the services of third parties in order to streamline the business activity of the service, e.g. use an additional server room or send e-mail messages with information about Otineo's current updates.

We do not disclose any information or personal data to third parties’ without the User’s consent for any other reasons than those specified in this statement. This means that the information and personal data is not disclosed for a fee or in any other way and it is not passed on to third parties in any form without the User’s consent. Group reports are drawn in some cases. They contain reports of a statistical nature (such as the number of Users who clicked on a certain advertisement), which can be passed on to third parties. However, they do not contain any data making it possible to explicitly identify the User.


Users’ personal data can be passed on to authorized institutions, provided that it is determined by legal regulations. “Cookie” files are short pieces of text information sent via WWW servers and are usually saved to the hard disk of the computer used by the User. “Cookie” files do not contain any personal data information - they are usually used for the purposes of identification of the User’s browser while they use specific websites, services, etc.
"Cookie" files can also be used for a better adjustment of the contents presented to the User, in order to present advertisements which correspond most with User’s interests, for statistical reasons etc.
“Cookie” files do not have any negative impact or influence on the functioning of a User’s computer, operational system or software. Otineo can use “cookie” files to identify Users while using the service and for other purposes, such as:
• Additional security to verify the User’s data during the login process

• Creating advertising and information content and materials which correspond most closely with a User's profile.

Every user can block the possibility to save “cookie” files in the browser settings on their computer. However, in this case it can cause considerable limitations as far as access to specific Otineo services is concerned.
In the case that the User blocks the function of saving the“cookie” files on their computer, it can cause the service to malfunction or it can make it impossible to use the service altogether.
During the presentation of advertising and information materials on the service webpage, our contracted advertising specialists can use the “cookies” mechanism in order to assess the efficiency of the campaigns carried out.

The issue of security and protection of User privacy is very important to us and therefore we undertake all possible precautions aimed at guaranteeing our Customers maximum security and full protection of the data provided by them. While using the Otineo service, the communication between the User and our servers is encrypted with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol, from the moment of login. The encryption is based on the encoding of information sent between the Users with the use of mathematical algorithms.
The databases which contain the data provided by Users are protected from being accessed by unauthorized persons, being intercepted by unauthorized persons, unauthorized changes, loss, damage or destruction. The databeses are stored on secured servers. The rules we apply regulating employee access to rooms containing our teleinformation systems are extremely stringent. Our employees have access to the data provided by Users to a certain extent, that being which is necessary for them to carry out the tasks they are entrusted with and in order to support, elaborate and improve our services. Those persons are under the obligation to keep the secret and in the event that they do not keep the commitment, they are subject to disciplinary measures, including termination of the contract and disciplinary sanctions. We protect all information carriers which contain data provided by the Users with the use of available technical means. The buildings in which the personal data is gathered and located are supervised by security 24 hours a day. We conduct obligatory training for our employees on legal regulations and internal regulations concerning the security of personal data. The agreements concluded with our contracting parties require the protection of confidentiality, personal data, maintenance of the physical security of data and information.
Otineo processes personal data solely for the purposes for which it was gathered and according to the privacy policy or all relevant information concerning privacy protection related to particular services. We control our procedures of information collection, storage and processing in order to guarantee that the collected, stored and processed personal data is solely the data which is necessary to deliver or improve our services. We go to great lengths to ensure that the personal data processed by us is correct, complete and updated. However, as far as possible updates and corrections are concerned, we depend on our Users. Otineo stores the service Users’ data on the basis of the terms and conditions specified in the present Statement for a period of time which is not longer than it is required by relevant legal regulations.
Deleted data can be stored for some time in the form of security copies but will not be available to Otineo service Users. However, if the communication function of information exchange services between Otineo Users was used, the deletion of such elements (e.g. messages sent to other people) is not usually possible. We advise all Users of the Otineo service to apply the basic security measures listed below:
• Installation and use of an anti-virus software
• Updating of the software in use as well as the operational system
• Installation and use of firewall – software which protects computer networks from being accessed externally.
• Creating security copies of your information resources.
• Being careful while downloading software and files from unknown sources.
• Refraining from opening attachments sent with e-mails from unknown senders. Ignoring all e-mail messages with a request to provide passwords, credit card details and other information
• While choosing a password for the login to the service, it is necessary to avoid all associations with oneself or the persons from one’s direct environment. For instance, it is not advised to use ones’ name, the names of one’s next of kin, the brand of one’s car, etc.
• It is advised to try and remember one’s password. While choosing the password, it is advised to apply the rule according to which the password will be easy for the User to recall but very difficult for others to guess.
• The password should not be stored in places which are easily accessible to other people.
• It is advised to change one’s password intermittently
• The password should not be given to anyone
• In the case that several people are using the same computer, once they finish using the service, they should log out.
• It is particularly necessary to protect the PIN number assigned to one’s account, as it is possible to make calls from any telephone with the use of it.
• The PIN number should not be stored in places which are easily accessible to other people.
