Help for Otineo Users

How does it work?
The Otineo Users dedicate their time to watch video ads and answer survey questions. Thanks to that they collect points “otins” that may be exchanged for awards – various goods and services.

What is Otin?
Otin is a pre-arranged unit received by Otineo Users by viewing Adverts in the form of video or animation and answering survey questions asked on Otineo website.

How to register?
In order to register with us and set up a user account you must access our website and click on “Register” button. Fill in the registration form, read the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and then accept them. Pay particular attention to the Username which must differ from the names of other Users using the same telephone number. The password must have six characters at least. Please pay attention also to the size of characters written down. Always give your stationary telephone number along with the telephone code. Finally, type the one-time security code and click on the confirmation button to approve the entire form. After registering activate the account in Otineo service.

How to activate your Otineo user account?
To complete the registration process:
- read the email sent to you by Otineo and click on the link provided in this e-mail
- activate your user account from your registered phone by calling the following number:
- 0 800 90 00 09 (for stationary telephones – free of charge number)
- 0 22 205 39 44 (for mobile phones – paid number according to the rate of your operator).
You will be asked for pressing “digit 1” and after the announcement "your account is active" the connection will be broken.
After the activation of the account and another log on you can use all services of the Otineo service.

Can all the household members use the Otineo account?
The account is always created for a stationary telephone or mobile telephone number given during the registration process. In case of the account assigned to the same stationary phone two Users can use it at most. The user who was registered first with the use of particular telephone number becomes a chief User (administrator) of Otineo account assigned to this telephone line and he must accept other persons wanting to register to this telephone line.


Each User should register with the Otineo service on his own. If the Otineo user account has been already registered under a particular stationary telephone number then every next User of this account will be able to fully use all services in the service only after obtaining consent of the chief User.

How to accept next users?
After logging on in the service you should click on “Settings” and then click on the button "Accept" put next to a name of chosen person from the list of the registered users.

Can I register user account for the mobile phone?
Yes, you may register a user account for the mobile phone however, you must remember that only one user may use such account.

May I change data provided during the registration?
If you want to update your information you must long on and click on “Settings” and then mark the data you want to chcnage. You may change:
• User name
• Postal code
• E-mail address
• Password

Is it possible to use Otineo service anywhere in the word?
Otineo service may be available only in some countries. The user may choose the language version not only during the registration but while further using Otineo as well as.

What is the expiry date of my user account?
The activated Otineo user account is not limited by expiry date. You may use it repeatedly and exchange Otins for watching ads.

Is my data protected when I use Otineo service?
Yes, the communication between your computer and Otineo servers is encrypted with using the SSL protocol (Secure Socket Layer).

Where will I find information concerning the safety of my data while using Otineo?
The Otineo Terms of Use can be found on every Otineo website in the bottom part of the screen. In order to dispel all doubts about the safety of your data, besides the Privacy Policy you will also find the document Safety devoted to these issues.

Can I deregister from the service?
If not you are going to use Otineo further you can certainly deregister. In order to deregister you should send us the written notice using the available form after logging on the website www.otineo.com in the main menu under the "Contact".
Please remember that in order to liquidate the account assigned to the stationary line, you must be a chief User (administrator) of this account. In some cases our consultant may call you to the telephone number assigned up to the account which you want to liquidate and in order to verify you he may ask you some questions about:
a. your telephone number,
b. telephone numbers to which you recently made connections (two or three target numbers with which they were effected connecting via Otineo or the sort of the recently purchased code)
c. other data which can be essential to establish whether you are entitled to submitting the instruction of the liquidation of Otineo accounts.

Establishing a new account for a telephone number which was previously exploited for setting up the account and next was locked up for the User wish, will be possible after the end of 180 days from receiving the written notice with the request.

What are the hardware and software requirements to use Otineo service properly?
Your Web browser should have all the ad-block type extensions unplugged and should enable the service of JavaScript programmes and Flash (e.g. Flash Adobe www.adobe.com available on the website) in order to be able to use the service properly and to exploit all its functionalities. We recommend you the newest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer.

How to recharge the Otineo account?
If you want to recharge your user account you must click on “Collect Otins” button after logging on. Your account is recharged after you have watched the advert and/or answer survey question(s). Remember to focus on the viewed ad and to answer the questions without undue delay because due to the security reasons if you become inactive for al long time you might me logged-off or your answers may be rejected.

How to solve problems?
If you experience any difficulties while using Otineo or you want to obtain reply to questions bothering you, you can always address such problematic issues to us e.g. by sending the message via the contact form with the description of the problem. We will answer or call you back as soon as possible. In order to fill the contact form in click on "Contact" on the main page of the service and next choose the subject of the question and a short description of the problem you have experienced. Our consultant will contact you:
• by phone to a telephone number indicated by you,
or
• by e-mail, to the e-mail address indicated by you.
However, before you ask a question please make the use of the answers set under this section.

Why I cannot register?
Your user name may line up with the name of other user using the same telephone number. Your password consists of fewer than six signs or you incorrectly type your telephone number in. The service may be not available in your country.

Why I cannot log on?
The button "Caps Lock" may be turned on your keyboard while entering the password, please pay also pay attention to the size of the letters while entering your password. You enter wrong username or password. If you forgot what is your username type in your email address registered in Otineo service in the box "username or e-mail address". If you forgot your password please use the option of retrieving the password - please tick the box "I forgot the password" on the website put under the log-on area. Next enter your telephone number, username/email and new password in the form that will appear on your screen. You will receive the e-mail on your registered address confirming your demand of password change. You will activate new password by clicking on the link included in the e-mail.

How fast is my account charged up?
You user account is charged up after you have viewed the advertisement or/and you have answered the survey question.
